The State Theatre Center for the Arts, Inc. presents a wide variety of arts and entertainment events of its own, and also welcomes requests to lease the facilities from community organizations, businesses and other users.

A rare survivor from America’s grand Vaudeville era, the State Theatre was designed in a style inspired by the Davanzanti Palace in Florence with interior appointments by the legendary Italian artist, Batiste.

Painstakingly restored to its original beauty in the early 1990’s, the 1500 seat theatre is the perfect space for the most grand event of any size.

With roughly 1000 seats on the main floor and another 500 in the balcony, the hall affords virtual perfection in spatial acoustics and sight line design.
