That’s the philosophy behind Scott Bradlee’s Postmodern Jukebox, whose Life In The Past Lane World Tour returns to 40 US cities this Fall. The revamped show will blend modern-day earworms and iconic pop hits with the original styles that put American popular music on the map: Ragtime, Swing, Big Band, Country / Western, Doo Wop and Soul. Equal parts time-traveling musical variety show and career-launching talent platform, Postmodern Jukebox (or “PMJ”) will feature a cast of performers from their wildly popular YouTube channel, to bring the musical universe to life. |

In the long rich history of Family Groups in American Roots Music, THE CHAPIN FAMILY has a special place. When these singers, songwriters and extraordinary live performers come together, magic happens. Tom Chapin, Steve Chapin, Jen Chapin, and The Chapin Sisters (Abigail Chapin and Lily Chapin) are all powerful musical artists who have active careers and multiple recordings, who just happen to be related, and who love making music together. Harry Chapin (1942 – 1981) was one of our most passionate, political, prolific and inspiring songwriters. Two generations of the musical Chapin Family will gather to bring the songs of Harry Chapin to life. Backed by The Harry Chapin Band (including Big John Wallace and Howard Fields), the Family will perform Harry’s classic songs, including Cat’s In The Cradle, Taxi, Mr. Tanner, Mail Order Annie, W•O•L•D, and Circle. LATE NITE CATECHISM
By Vicki Quade and Maripat Dononvan Late Nite Catechism is an uproariously funny play that takes the audience back to their youth. The irrepressible Sister teaches class to a roomful of “students.” Throughout the course of the class, the benevolent instructor rewards the “students” for correct answers with glow-in-the-dark rosaries and other nifty prizes. Naughty students may well find themselves on stage sitting in a corner reflecting on their actions. However, even the most reluctant “students” will be clamoring to get into this Sister’s class.
