Outside Promoter: The Pennsylvania Philharmonic Presents


From bewitched broomsticks to dancing hippos, this iconic program taken from the original 1940 version and “Fantasia 2000,” includes Dukas’s The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, Ponchelli’s Dance of the Hours, Stravinsky’s Firebird, Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker” Suite and much more, is performed live by The Pennsylvania Philharmonic’s 80-piece ensemble while Disney’s stunning footage is shown on a gigantic HD screen above the orchestra.

A Benefit Concert for the FREDDY Awards

The Main Street Cruisers perform a high energy show staying true to the original versions of many Rock and Roll hits of the 50’s and 60’s. The group’s two poodle skirted female vocalists will keep the action flowing with dance routines that have the crowd moving and the band’s harmonies and music will make you believe you are listening to the original artists. With their 50’s style bowling shirts, poodle skirts, tux jackets, dance routines and zany comedy The Main Street Cruisers truly take you on a wild ride back to the 50’s and 60’s . This performance will benefit the non-profit FREDDY© Awards program.

“Sid the Science Kid” comes to life in this incredible live stage experience! With wonders to discover, Sid and his friends, May, Gabriela and Gerald, set off on a day of excitement and adventure, as they explore their five senses through fun games and experiments and by asking curious questions and finding fascinating answers. Teacher Susie is also along to keep the music flowing as the kids explore the world around them with audience interactive activities and plenty of laughs to go around. There is even a surprise sixth sense revealed by Teacher Susie. SID THE SCIENCE KID LIVE: LET’S PLAY! will have the whole family cheering, exploring, dancing and excited to figure out more about the great unknown together.
